How do I create and assign a Training Plan on atDove?

Creating a Custom Training Plan and Module

  1. From a list of content, or from a specific video or article page, select the blue ‘Add to Training Plan’ button.Training plan_1
  2. In the second box titled, 'Create a New Plan Named:’ enter the name of your new custom training plan, followed by the 'Create' button.
  3. Go to Training Plans under the admin drop-down menu and click "Edit" next to the training plan you've created.
  4. Under "Description" you have the ability to modify training plan titles, descriptions, thumbnail, etc. Please ensure that the title field is filled out, and that "Default Certificate" is selected under "Certificate". All other fields do not need to be filled out on this page, and you can select "Next" when you're done.
  5. You should now be on the Learning Path Manager section, where you will create a module by clicking "Add your First Item" and selecting "Module". 
    1. From here, you'll add a title and click "Save" at the bottom on the screen. All other fields will populate with default information and do not need to be modified. 
  6. Once that module has been created, check the box that says "Mandatory" and then click "Next" at the bottom of the page.

Editing an Existing Custom Training Plan via the Training Plan Page

**Please note that all steps from the "Create a Custom Training Plan and Module" must be completed in order to add materials to a custom training plan, both via the content feeds or the module list. Skipping these steps will result in an error and you will not be able to add materials to training plans.**

  1. Go to Training Plans under the admin drop-down menu and click "Edit" next to the one you'd like to modify.
  2. Click “Next” through the Description and Learning Path Manager. The Learning Path Manager should have a Module, but if not then refer to steps 5 and 6 in the previous section.
  3. You should now be in the Activities section, and you will select "Activities Bank". This will pull up a list of all materials that can be added to a training plan. Search by title to find the items you'd like like to include, and click the checkbox next to the title before clicking "Add selected activities to the module".
  4. Once you've added all needed materials, click "Next" at the bottom of the page. 
  5. Please bypass the member's screen and click "Finish", as this page is currently not an efficient method to assign training plans. Instructions on how to assign training plans can be found at the end of this article, or by clicking right here.

  2. In the first box titled ‘Add to an Existing Plan:’ select the training plan you would like to add the selected content to.

Assigning a Training Plan

  1. From the ‘My Team’ drop down menu, select ‘Training Plans’. This will take you to a page with your custom training plans and stock training plans.
  2. You can then select ‘Assign’ for the training plan you would like to assign to members.
  3. Select individuals or groups within your account to assign your selected training plan to. You can also set a due date and add instructions before sending the training plan to your members.
