What is RACE/VHMA approved continuing education?

  • RACE: Registry of Approved Continuing Education (RACE) is a program provided by the American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB).  Our training content has been reviewed and approved by RACE. Individual states have the right to refuse any program that RACE approves though, so we suggest you check with your state board to verify that atdove.org is applicable to your re-licensure. Click here to find contact information for all AAVSB-member regulatory agencies. Please contact RACE at race@aavsb.org should you have any comments or concerns regarding atdove.org's validity or relevancy to the veterinary profession.
  • VHMA: A veterinary practice manager has the option to become a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM). Once certified, a CVPM just accumulate forty-eight continuing education hours every two years. The Veterinary Hospital Managers Association (VHMA) approves training materials that are qualified for CVPM’s to obtain continuing education credit. We have various lectures that have been reviewed and approved by VHMA as qualifying CVPM continuing education credit.
